Pr\u00e8viament a l\u2019aparici\u00f3 dels tel\u00e8fons intel\u00b7ligents, els GPS i les apps de muntanyisme, quan qualsevol excursionista feia una llista de coses que no podia descuidar dins de la seva motxilla, entre la cantimplora, l\u2019entrep\u00e0 i roba d\u2019abric no hi podia faltar el mapa, la br\u00faixola i en algunes ocasions l\u2019alt\u00edmetre.<\/p>

A dia d\u2019avui, aquesta llista ja no sembla tenir vig\u00e8ncia, de fet, de qu\u00e8 serveix el mapa i la br\u00faixola si no se saben interpretar? La majoria de gent que s\u2019inicia en el mont de l\u2019excursionisme i del muntanyisme descuida aquest aprenentatge, antigament tan essencial, les noves tecnologies han relegat al mapa i la br\u00faixola a la categoria de dispensables, antiquats o irrellevants. Tan mateix, i de la mateixa manera que a ning\u00fa se li acudiria ensenyar a un infant a fer servir la calculadora abans de saber sumar i restar, els iniciats a la muntanya tampoc haurien de passar-se la pantalla de la interpretaci\u00f3 i comprensi\u00f3 m\u00e9s essencials d\u2019un mapa cartogr\u00e0fic.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

A Catalunya podem trobar col\u00b7leccions senceres de mapes de rutes i ascensions\u00a0 d\u2019absolutament totes les serralades, massissos i muntanyes. Editorial Alpina o Editorial Piolet s\u00f3n clars exemples de dues editorials catalanes que \u00e9s van especialitzar en mapes i guies d\u2019excursionisme, tan de muntanya com de ciclisme, un vestigi i mostra de la import\u00e0ncia que tenia per a qualsevol senderista disposar d\u2019un mapa.\u00a0 Actualment, com molts altres sectors, aquestes editorials no deuen estar passant pels seus millors moments, de la mateixa manera i pels mateixos motius que a les gasolineres jo no es venen tants mapes de les Guies Michelin, els mapes de muntanya han quedat relegats als col\u00b7leccionistes o als amants de la vella metodologia de la orientaci\u00f3.\u00a0<\/p>

La q\u00fcesti\u00f3 b\u00e0sica \u00e9s, pot un senderista, corredor de muntanya, alpinista o qualsevol altre persona que practica qualsevol modalitat d\u2019esport o hobby en entorns m\u00e9s o menys salvatges i naturals ser bo en aquestes modalitats sense saber interpretar mapes o sense tenir cap coneixement b\u00e0sic en orientaci\u00f3? La resposta no \u00e9s senzilla, si m\u00e9s no, no pot ser categ\u00f2rica, per tan, tot el que es pugui dir o pensar queda en el terreny de l\u2019 opini\u00f3. Per\u00f2 el que si que est\u00e0 clar, es que tot aquell qui, encara que disposant d\u2019una bona forma f\u00edsica i un bon entrenament, no tingui coneixements d\u2019orientaci\u00f3 i no disposi d\u2019un mapa de la zona on es troba, ser\u00e0 bo i efectiu sempre en funci\u00f3 del nivell de c\u00e0rrega de la bateria del seu m\u00f2bil, ja que ser bo i efectiu implica saber tornar a casa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Els bons mapes cartogr\u00e0fics mostren cotes i desnivells, quadrants de dist\u00e0ncia en escala, fins i tot boscos, rius, camins i carreteres, ermites, pobles i refugis i a tot color, a m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s els punts cardinals que, junt amb una br\u00faixola, aquest tros de paper, et dona una informaci\u00f3 exhaustiva i exacte de tot el teu entorn, tan sols queda la capacitat d\u2019interpretaci\u00f3 i d\u2019utilitzaci\u00f3 de cada un dels senderistes.<\/p>

L\u2019altra conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de l\u2019\u00fas de les noves tecnologies en depriment dels mapes i br\u00faixoles, i aix\u00f2 ja no \u00e9s opini\u00f3, \u00e9s el fet de la massificaci\u00f3 de qualsevol cim, gorg o rierol de les nostres terres, ja res resta desconegut, complicat o inaccessible, tot queda a l\u2019abast de tothom, amants i no amants de la natura i aqu\u00ed \u00e9s on hi ha el problema clau.<\/p>

No pretenc fer una cr\u00edtica a les noves tecnologies, de fet, crec que aquestes s\u00f3n una bona eina, pr\u00e0ctica i c\u00f2mode, tanmateix no haurien d\u2019implicar la desaparici\u00f3 de la forma cl\u00e0ssica d\u2019orientaci\u00f3, ja que el coneixement de l\u2019\u00fas del mapa i la br\u00faixola et poden salvar d\u2019un bon embolic en cas de fallada del teu gps.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
